Energy Venture Day & Pitch Competition
As part of CERAWeek 2025, the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship presents the annual Energy Venture Day & Pitch Competition on March 12. This highly anticipated event brings together over 40 emerging energy ventures that are driving efficiency and innovation in the energy transition. Startups will pitch their companies before industry experts and investors for a chance to win cash prizes.
The top three ventures from each industry track will be recognized at the event's conclusion, with the highest-scoring venture advancing to compete in the Startup World Cup Competition in San Francisco. The university track, TEX-E Prize, will award $50,000 in cash prizes to support the next generation of energy innovators.
